Childrens Ministry

"Jesus said, 'Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these.'"
Matthew 19:14

We are grateful for the laughter, joy, innocence and love that God gives us through our children. We teach the children on their level using fun, sharing, role playing, singing and a dynamic curriculum.

The Coastal Carolina Church's Children's Ministry seeks to plant the seeds of faith and reveal to the children God's amazing love for them and that His word is alive, so that they may walk with Him all the days of their lives.

"We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives, so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way; bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God."
Colossians 1:9b-10

The Coastal Carolina Church recognizes that we, as adults, benefit greatly by seeing through the amazed eyes of a child learning about their Heavenly Father.

"The he said, 'I tell you the truth, unless you turn from your sins and become like little children, you will never get into the Kingdom of Heaven. So anyone who becomes as humble as this little child is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven."
Matthew 18:3-4

We work diligently to provide classes, parent training and group discussion so that we may live according to Deutoronomy 6:1-9 :

"These are the commands, decrees and laws the LORD your God directed me to teach you to observe in the land that you are crossing the Jordan to possess, so that you, your children and their children after them may fear the LORD your God as long as you live by keeping all his decrees and commands that I give you, and so that you may enjoy long life. Hear, O Israel, and be careful to obey so that it may go well with you and that you may increase greatly in a land flowing with milk and honey, just as the LORD, the God of your fathers, promised you. Hear, O Israel: The LORD your God, the LORD is one. Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates."
